Newlight focuses on investments in the information technology industry and we have completed transactions across a broad range of segments and development stages within this industry. Since we are active investors in most of our private portfolio companies, an important element of our strategy is to concentrate our resources on those segments of information technology where one or more members of our investment team have substantial experience.

Newlight's investments in private technology companies are focused on expansion and later stage companies. We will invest anywhere in the United States and most often do so in conjunction with other institutional investment firms.
